  Tempest Mac

This was the first Tempest Mac. It was all aluminum construction and had two removable modules on the right side. One module contained the Hard Drive and the other a second hard drive or a floppy drive.This is the first known computer with a removable hard drive which usually contained classified data and could easily removed from the computer and locked up or easily destroyed. It is also the first portable Mac that used a Plasma display. (Dynamac was not yet in business.)
